Leaf 367/368 (in the index) poorly opened with knife, with large piece missing from blank vertical margin (see photo). Inner rear hinge shows a hairline crack (see photo; cracked inner hinges are the rule with Darwin's books published by John Murray). Indentations in vertical edge of rear cover (see photo). My photos show the flaws. I still consider this a Very Good copy, and will send photos upon request showing the spine and covers, which give a different impression of the condition of the copy.
