With the loosely inserted contemporary owner's note 'with best of good wishes from Bro and Alice, May Riffie and Tom. Christmas 1928'. Bound in the publisher's original blue binding with gilt detailing, this is a truly beautiful copy of one of the most important works of children's literature.
