First few leaves, including title of second volume, with one tiny wormhole near bottom, and one small burn hole, the latter affecting a few letters of the first leaf of text. Wear to edge of title pages. Light scattered soiling and foxing, but overall the pages come off as unblemished.

Samuel Johnson's 'A Dictionary of the English Language' is among the most influential dictionaries in the history of the English language. First published on 15 April 1755, the dictionary offered comprehensive definitions and illustrative examples of usage.
