With a black and white photographic frontispiece to each volume, occasional in-text illustrations to 'Thoughts and Adventures,' and sixteen further photographic plates to 'My Early Life,' as well as several other illustrations in-text and a folding map. Recently re-bound in navy half morocco, with raised bands, gilt titles to twin red labels, 'Lion Rampant' motifs to spines, matching cloth over boards, and top edges gilt. Crisp, clean copies, lightly trimmed for the new binding, showing some spotting to the final leaf of 'Thoughts and Adventures'. Presented in attractive new leather bindings. These two volumes represent Churchill's only autobiographical works.
