Finely bound by the Chelsea Bindery in red morocco, spine lettered and decorated in gilt, raised bands, gilt motif to front board and single rule to boards gilt, twin rule gilt to turn ins, green endpapers, gilt edges. Illustrated with photographs of clay reliefs by John Lockwood Kipling. The occasional minor blemish, an excellent copy in a fine binding.
