With Robert Frost's daughter Lesley Frost's bookplate to the front paste down and inscribed by her "To Christopher Barnes inscribed in January 1976 / A brook to none but who remember long. This as it will be seen is other far Than with brooks taken otherwhere in song. We love the things we love for what they are. Page 34" Barnes (1936-2020) curated one of the most significant private collections of Frost. Bound in publisher's navy cloth lettered in gilt. Near Fine with slight lean to binding, minor wear at extremities. Fine. In a Very Good+ unclipped dust jacket with light toning and edge wear. Full split at front joint mended with archival tissue at verso though still presents very well. A lovely copy with a fantastic association.
