First edition, published 1753, I have seen a number of first editions claimed both older and newer. front cover is loose, first page is loose, some pages torn, and stained. I would not usually list a book in this shape but it is high demand.

Paradise Lost is an epic poem in blank verse by the 17th-century English poet John Milton. The first version, published in 1667, consisted of ten books with over ten thousand lines of verse.
