21.5cm by 13cm, 392pp, frontispiece and folding chart, full leather covers worn, loss at head and tail of spine, split along spine seem, corners bumped, binding still firm and square, pages somewhat darkened with age, very nice calligraphic inscription on front flyleaf by a George Griswold Guilford noting the book as a present from his uncle, Benjamin Cleveland, dated 1802, inscription on rear flyleaf also, unmarked.
