Howards End�was first released in the UK in 1910 and the novel became Forster�s first major literary success. The book has been adapted for TV, film and theatre and remains a highly collectable item. Original orange boards with black lettering and decorations on the upper cover and spine. Light bumping to the spine ends and corners. Previous owners inscription on the front paste down. Top edge is black. The contents are browned and clean. Dog eared page on page 58 resulting in a printing error. 1cm tear on the title page. The unclipped dust jacket has tears and small pieces missing on the folds and spine ends. Internal repairs on the folds. Darkened spine colour.
