Original green cloth, lettered in black on the front board and the spine. Illustrated dust jacket, signed by "MB", housed in a green cloth, clamshell case. 3/6 price stated on the spine of the jacket. Third impression. Inscribed and signed by the author at the half-title. Very scarce dust jacket, identical to the suppressed first edition due to "MB" having drawn the main character's club foot on the wrong leg. The dust jacket has benefited from some much needed TLC - removal of old tatty tape repair to verso and the closing of some tears which threatened to worsen over time. Very Good / Very Good.
