Full deep red morocco, the spine with raised bands, each decorated with three gilt circles. Compartments ruled, lettered and decorated with circular elephant motifs in gilt. Gilt Elephant and palm tree design within a single ruled border on front board. Rear board with gilt ruled border. Board edges with decorative gilt roll. Just So Stories for Little Children is a collection of origin stories by the British author Rudyard Kipling. Considered a classic of children's literature, the book is amongst Kipling's best known works.

First editions of 'Just So Stories' published by Macmillan in 1902 can be identified by the imprint on the bottom of the title page, a note stating 'All rights reserved' and the absence of subsequent printings or editions mentioned.
