1st ed, 1st printing complete with the rare errata slip and folding map at rear. The map is fully intact but beasr some minor old repairs where the map folds out. Spine renewed by Temple of Oxford. Front board reset into new panel with silver gilt lining and bearing the original title author and silver gilt decoration depicting The Endurance. This is an ex-library copy with two fairly unobtrusive stamps to the rear of the title page but otherwise no other library markings. overall a very attractive copy. Images available upon request.
