First Edition stated. 7500 copies printed. Near Fine, lightly rubbed dark orange cloth covers, dark blue titles, top edge stained dark blue. Endpapers moderately soiled. Near Fine unclipped ($2.00) dust jacket almost certainly with some restoration and color touch ups but very skillfully executed (see photos). Dust jacket flap edges and verso moderately toned (slight mustiness was noticed on first viewing but no more apparent after discarding musty slipcase). Rear panel with four Borzoi Books titles. Dust jacket now protected in removable mylar.

Farewell, My Lovely is a detective novel by Raymond Chandler, featuring his iconic private eye Philip Marlowe. First published in 1940, it is Chandler's second novel.
