Two volume set in gilt decorated bindings with their original red linen jackets. Volume two has an early binding split and some finger stains on early pages ( 4 and 5 mostly ). Volume 2 also over opened on page 217 and with spine lean. The jackets are worn and tattered at the corners and spine ends. Both volumes in very good condition with many illustrations. Rare with the original wrappers 130 year old jackets.
