A pair of first edition, first printings of 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' and 'Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator', published by George Allen and Unwin in 1967 and 1973. 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory': A near fine book without inscriptions. Mildly rubbed to the joints with the laminate still in place. 'Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator': A very good book without inscriptions. Some light loss to the laminate, especially to the knuckles and edges. A very nice pair of first edition books now in protective covers.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a delightful novel by Roald Dahl that tells the story of a poor boy named Charlie Bucket who finds a golden ticket in a chocolate bar, granting him a tour of Willy Wonka's mysterious and magical chocolate factory.
