Campbell'sAstounding Science Fiction,in 1940. A classic Arkham House title from the 40's. 8vo, 216, [1]pp. Black cloth with gilt spine lettering and design in illustrated jacket by Robert F. Hubbell. Signed by van Vogt on the title page with "Slancere" best wishes. Page block edge a bit toned and soiled, with some light foxing to preliminaries, and boards a bit dusty. Price-clipped jacket with toning to spine, typical wear and light chipping at spine ends and corners. A very good copy.
