A fine copy with a contemporary ownership name to the front pastedown in a very good dustwrapper, which has closed tears to the front joint and fold and a little wear to the corners. The fourth Lord Peter Wimsey novel and the second to be published by the relatively small imprint of Ernest Benn, in an edition of only 1,000 copies. Very rare in a dustwrapper.
