Nine volumes 8vo, publisher's blind-tooled brown cloth, spine titles in gilt. Very light and small dampstain to a corner of the last few signatures in Vol. 1, scuff to the cloth on the front board of Vol. 1, 1/2' chip at the top of the spine on Vol. 2, shallow chipping elsewhere, very light dampstain at the bottom corner of about half the pages in Vol. 9, most corners rubbed through, all prelims heavily foxed, widely scattered very light foxing elsewhere.
