Large thin quarto red pictorial cloth stamped in black. Illustrated by the author. First edition. Fine in a very good plus dust jacket which has rubbing at the spine tips and a two-inch closed tear near the upper spine. A nice copy, scarce in this condition. The 1954 Caldecott Medal Winner.
