One of Ballard's best books, a critically acclaimed novel that was shortlist for the Booker Prize. The basis for the Steven Spielberg directed movie that starred a young Christian Bale as well as John Malkovich and Miranda Richardson. A clean near fine copy in black cloth boards with some of the usual toning to the pages and in a near fine translucent dust jacket with some minor wear and in a near fine cloth covered slipcase that has some minor wear. Signed by Ballard on the limitation page. Surprisingly uncommon despite the size of the edition.
