Third edition. Octavo. Original blue cloth lettered and blocked in gilt. Dustwrapper. pp.xii,100. Decorative endpapers. SIGNED IN FOUNTAIN PEN BY ERNEST SHEPARD TO THE TITLE PAGE. Illustrated throughout in black and white by Shepard. Slight rubbing to the cloth to the head and tail of the spine and a little wear to the rear panel. Overall a very good, tight, clean copy in good nicked, chipped, edge-worn and marked dustwrapper which has a neat pencil name to the head of the front panel. Dustwrapper marked '3rd edition' to the rear inside flap. Published less than a month after the first edition and with a fine contemporary signature by Ernest Shepard. Very scarce.
