New York; (1928): Henry Holt and Co. First Edition. Octavo. Signed and inscribed by the author dated 1931 in Denver. First issue with "roams" on page 44, later changed to "romps". Wood-cut frontispiece and 3 other black and white wood-cut illustrations. 64pp., A poem in the form of conversation between a husband and wife strolling along the bank of a meandering stream in southern New Hampshire. Bound in 1/4 green cloth over green paper covered boards, pictorial gilt pastedown, spine lettering gilt, some light staining to upper board near spine, light wear to corners, a little rubbing to spine ends. A very nice copy.
