First Edition, First Printing published in London. A fantastic copy. This copy is elegantly bound in a period morocco black letter with raised bands. The binding is tight with NO cocking or leaning and the boards are crisp with minor wear to the spine. The pages are clean with a Frederick Locker armorial bookplate and previous owner's name neatly written on a blank page before the title page. The pages are exceptionally clean with NO foxing in the book. A superb copy of the author's third and last book published in his lifetime.
