The story had a major impact on popular culture, with over 30 movie and TV series adaptations since the 1930s. It was referenced in an episode of Tom and Jerry, it inspired the famous song by Queen with the same title, and was adapted into a comic book by Marvel Comics in 1976. Octavo. Original red cloth, spine and front cover lettered in gilt, black illustration on front cover in black. Extremities rubbed, spine slightly toned, scattered small splash marks and some discolouration to front cover, contents mildly toned, a little shaken, clean throughout: a very good copy.
