2 vols. Illustrated. 8vo, publisher's cloth in acetate wrappers and publisher's slipcases. First limited edition. A very few spots of light foxing to the edges of the text block of "Mandate for Change;" a little more so to the edges of "Waging Peace." Both volumes tight and sound, with very slight use to the slipcases. Mandate for Change is inscribed and signed by Eisenhower on the half-title for Marion Folsom, his Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare, 1955-1858. Affixed to the half-title of Waging Peace is a printed presentation label with the typewritten message "For: Marion Folsom," signed, "Devotedly, Dwight D. Eisenhower. Both volumes have Marion Folsom's bookplate on the front pastedown.
