A remainder copy of McCarthy's pivotal fourth novel marking his transition from Southern gothic to Western themes. First edition (first printing, with "First Edition" stated and a numberline ending in 2, per Random House's style). This copy has a light remainder stamp of the top edge and two small spots of insect damage on the front board, which also affect the dust jacket.
