An early printing (in pink cloth) of the 'Popular Edition Entirely Rewritten by the Author' with no additional printings listed at copyright page, date of 1921 at title page, ads at half-title (8 titles instead of 6) list to The Girl On the Boat at 7/6 - in jacket (presumed to be 4th issue) with green variant frame to rear panel and which lists to The Lady of the Lawn at 2/- at the rear flap, the first issue looks to list to the previous book, Olive of Sylcote. Near Fine but for some cloth discoloration in attractive Very Good plus dustjacket.

A novel by P.G. Wodehouse, first published in 1906, 'Love Among the Chickens' marks the author's first attempt at a continuous story that involves the young and impecunious writer Jeremy Garnet who is persuaded by his friend Stanley Featherstonehaugh Ukridge to assist at an upstart chicken farm.
