Hardback with dark green cloth-covered boards, gold lettering and decoration on the spine and front cover. Includes 13 glossy plates by F.D. Bedford, all in excellent condition. Boards have light rubbing on the spine ends and corner tips. One corner is gently bent. Gilt is bright on the front cover but has been rubbed or dulled on the spine. Spine is tight. Pages are clean. No writing or foxing inside. The last four text pages were not cut during production, so a former owner tried to separate them (see photos). Short tears do not extend past the margins.
