This is the German text edition (same woodcuts) of 23 December 1493; It is important to note that maybe half as many copies in German were printed compared to the Latin text. The provenance of this copy has been traced back to about 1890; A collation has been done and it is complete; The earlyish binding is in the original style; Full brown leather with blind border & simple geometric decoration to boards, raised bands, blind spine title, matching blind compartment devices, & tan brittle endpapers / pastedown; Alledgedly there are 645 separate woodcuts although some were used repeatedly; This is a good+ solid copy with a flurry of ownership/notes in the front endpaper / pastedown. 12.5"x19"; 287 leaves. Photos available upon request.
