222pp. n.d. (1914) Signed limited edition. Signed 'Edmund Dulac' and numbered 64 of 500. A beautiful copy. 23 colour plates including frontispiece plate - all tissue guarded - with titles to tissues. Gilt embossed front board and spine. Upper edge gilt - other fore-edges uncut. Both ties detached but present. Light bump to one corner of front board. A couple of light soil marks to front board. Horizontal crease mark running parallel to the spine - 1.5cm from the head of the spine - probably a bump. Some foxing - mostly light to extreme margins of some leaves - the most prominent ones. A very well preserved copy of a beautiful and scarce book.

Sinbad the Sailor is a Middle Eastern folk tale, which is a part of the collection known as 'One Thousand and One Nights.' It tells the story of the adventurous sailor Sinbad and his voyages across the seas, encountering magical creatures and fantastic wonders.
