Very light chipping of dust jacket spine extremities, minor spotting near bottom of front panel, not price-clipped. A very clean copy with sections on "The Abilene Years, "The Peacetime Army", "At War", and "At Peace". 400pp. This copy is SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR on a special book-plate (see photos). A note on the provenance: We obtained the book from the niece of Lillian (Rusty) Brown, who was the private secretary to Ike and Mamie Eisenhower from 1962-1967, both at Gettysburg and Palm Desert. She personally asked Eisenhower to sign the book to her sister Elsie and her husband. A very nice copy with an added significant provenance. Size: Royal Octavo.
