A dark brown stain affects the bottom 1-1/4 inch of the spine, extending to a larger (unprinted) area on the back panel; small chips at the edges of the spine, affecting the lettering at the bottom of the front panel. Tropic of Cancer is a semi-autobiographical novel by Henry Miller, first published in 1934.
