Condition & Description: Bespoke Red and Gold Slip-Case: Deep red coloured with the beautiful Golden-Gilt Christmas garland of holly leaves with the title held within [absolutely beautiful as you can see]. - The slip-case is in a beautiful condition. - The book itself: Red faux leather boards, rich in colour, with the same golden gilt garland of leaves and holly, and the title of: 'A CHRISTMAS CAROL BY CHARLES DICKENS' - held within. - There is more gold/gilt decoration to the spine and there is blank tooled embossing around the perimeter of both the front and back boards. Boards are also in a great condition. - Magnificent Gold/Gilt decorated edging to all three sides of the pages and when the book is closed it looks magical.- There is a small nibble to the top of the spine margin at the front. The pages are of a good quality paper stock. Illustrations within are very detailed and accompany the story beautifully.
