This is Steven's first book. 1500 copies were issued in the first printing, this is the rarest binding; one of only 215. Boards are browned on edges, corners rubbed, one lightly bumped. Spine label is stained and difficult to read. Fore-edge foxed. Interior nice.

Harmonium is the first book of poetry by American poet Wallace Stevens, published in 1923. The collection includes many of Stevens' most famous poems such as 'Sunday Morning,' 'Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird,' and 'The Emperor of Ice-Cream.'
