Photoplay edition issued to coincide with the British release of the classic John Ford directed film starring Henry Fonda. Signed by actor Darryl Hickman on the title page with his full name and that of the character he plays in the film �Winfield Joad.� Additionally, accompanying the book are two 8� by 11� black & white photographs from the film, each signed by Hickman. One shows the entire Joad family and the other is a close-up photograph of Henry Fonda and Hickman in their roles. Bookplate. The book is near fine in a very good dust jacket with some small tears and tiny chipping. The front panel of the dust jacket is a horseshoe-shaped collage of photographs of Fonda and the cast of the film. Scarce.
