Published in New York by Covici Friede in 1935. First Edition, first printing with no indication of later printing. In light tan cloth, blue horizontal rule, and dull blue topstain. One of only 4000 copies printed. Steinbeck's fourth book and basis for the 1942 movie of the same name. Book very good, foxing on some pages and previous owner's signature on front free endpaper.
