1925 photoplay edition with scenes from the Universal production starring Lon Chaney. Illustrated by Andre Castaigne. Black and white illustrations from the Universal production. Included are two fold out illustrations in color that were present in the Bobbs Merrill 1911 first edition. Book is as new. The full color unfaded dustjacket has light chipping to corners and spine ends. An excellent example of this scarce item. Book is protected in a custom cut clear mylar cover. All books are carefully wrapped and shipped in a box.

The Phantom of the Opera, published serially in Le Gaulois from September 23, 1909 to January 8, 1910, and in volume form in late March 1910, is a novel by French writer Gaston Leroux. It tells the story of a mysterious masked man living in the catacombs of the Paris Opera House and his obsessive love for the beautiful Christine Daaé.
