Near Fine/Very Good Plus. 8vo., 265pp. Sharp Stated First US Edition of this Haycraft-Queen Cornerstone title, bound in gray cloth with titles in red, and gray against a red border, on front board and spine. tamped in gilt on spine. Square, tight and clean throughout with no toning or foxing. A bit of wear to the spine ends. Spine toning as is common. Very attractive unclipped dust-jacket ($2.50), has some nicks to the spine ends and wear to edges. A couple of tiny closed edge tears with associated creases. Spine panel mildly toned. Still fresh and bright. Very uncommonly signed by the author on the title page. A very pretty collectable copy. (Hubin p.149).
