First edition, third issue using the original Brewer sheets, with Ballou title page tipped in, and Ballou also at the foot of the spine. (First edition, second issue copies with Ballou title page and Brewer on the spine cloth are virtually non-existent, likely only a handful of copies). Publisher's name appears as Robert Ballou on the spine, with the first letters slightly larger. On some copies, letters are all the same size. Former owner name on pastedown endpaper, with parts of the dust jacket tipped in loosely.
