A Rare copy of the stated "First Canadian Edition / 1945" Hardcover. 160 pp. Green cloth boards with gilt titles in side a ruled box on the spine. Previous owner large-ish bookplate on the front endpaper, else a clean, crisp copy in Near Fine or better condition. In the original dust jacket which is not preserved in an acetate jacket sleeve. There are numerous small chips, to head/foot of spine and corners, but still looking great for a book that was often heavily read by the owner. No price present, as issued. The spine is suntanned. Otherwise a brilliant and collectible copy of one of Lewis's most famous books. Read by angel and demon alike!.
