First edition. Fine in near fine dust jacket with sunning at the spine and topedge, a miniscule tear and bit of light edgewear, mostly at the spine ends. Laid in is an issue of the *Poetry Book Society Bulletin No. 44* from February 1965 that includes a small advertisement for *Ariel* and a five-paragraph contribution from Ted Hughes about Plath. The bulletin is near fine with a horizontal crease and edgewear. A nice copy of this extremely influential collection of poetry, written in the last months of the poet's life.
