London's tale brings the Alaskan wilderness to life, and is one of the first to center around a dog's perspective on humans and the natural world. A nice copy of one of the most significant American novels ever published. Very light rubbing to the boards' edges and to the "snow" on the front board, a touch of foxing to the final plate.

Published in 1903, The Call of the Wild is a novel by Jack London. The story is set during the Klondike Gold Rush and follows a domesticated dog named Buck, who is stolen from his home and sold into the brutal life of an Alaskan sled dog.
