Heinlein, once on the title page and again with an inscription on the front free endpaper to polymath, researcher and science fiction writer Jerry Pournelle and his wife Roberta; from Pournelle's personal library. Bound in publisher's original orange cloth lettered in gilt. Very Good with lean to spine, oxidation to gilt lettering. In a Very Good unclipped ($5.95) dust jacket with light chipping, several tears at the edges and spine ends, a light diagonal crease to the front panel. A landmark work in science fiction about a lunar colony's revolt against absentee rule from Earth, also noted for its discussion of libertarian ideas. It was nominated for a Nebula Award in 1966 and won the 1967 Hugo Award for Best Novel. Signed copies of the first printing are scarce.
