Tall 8vo, purple-brown cloth, stamped in blind, title lettered in gilt. Spine slightly sunned, Oelrichs bookplate, a very good copy in custom-made cloth slipcase. A Haycraft/Queen Cornerstone, T. S. Eliot called this book the first and best modern detective story.
