SF novel, part of the ''Known Space'' series and a 1974 Hugo nominee, first published as a Ballantine paperback original in 1973. A rare UK hardcover (and indeed only hardcover). Page edges a little browned, neat inked date and date along top edges of front pastedown, library details rubber-stamped on front free endpaper (but NO other signs of library use), else a fine copy in a fine dustjacket.
