First Edition first binding in smooth dark-green buckram with two-rule border on back. First Issue with ad leaf at end of Volume 1. Each volume housed in a cloth folder; all three housed in a fine half-leather Morocco case. Minor peripheral wear, a little soiling to cover of Volume 1 and with no interior markings but for a bookseller s oval stamp in the right upper corner of the title page in Volume 1 and With the Publisher s Compliments stamped in light black above the title. Some light gutter cracking. Overall a very good set.
