With a portrait frontispiece to first volume, and title pages printed in red and black with a vignette 'JA' monogram. Elegantly bound in navy half morocco, with raised bands, gilt titles and decoration to spines, and matching cloth over boards. Top edges gilt, others gently trimmed. Some spotting to preliminaries of Northanger Abbey, and some paper restoration to lower corners of the last eight leaves of the same volume. Otherwise a crisp, clean set in an attractive new leather binding.
