First British edition of Hemingway's Torrents of Spring. Very good plus in similar dust jacket. The book has slight darkening at the extremities, but the covers are bright and free of foxing as is common with this title. The dust jacket is complete and unclipped with with original price of "5s net". The jacket is complete with no chips or tears, though it has some rubbing and dustiness to the covers. Very unusual in this nice a condition with no major flaws to the complete dust jacket. Enclosed in a custom-made slipcase.

The Torrents of Spring is a novel by Ernest Hemingway written in 1925 about a young man's disillusionment with love. It satirizes the over-romanticized literature of the time and is a parody of Sherwood Anderson's 'Dark Laughter'.
