A first edition, first printing published by Cape in 1929. A near fine copy without inscriptions. This is the FIRST ISSUE with the Sassoon poem. Gutter to front-endpaper marked. In a near fine (or better) dust wrapper which is unclipped. Small tear to the spine and a smaller one to the front panel, but not exactly noticeable. An exceptional copy.
