Description

Coetzee's first published novel. The description of this copy would be 'as new' but for a neatly pencilled previous re-sale price on the ffep and and a couple of tiny, almost imperceptible, perforations in the dust jacket (on the rear fold where the spine panel meets the back panel). The light grey-green cloth-bound boards appear pristine and are evenly coloured and unmarked: there are no dents, scratches or bumps; all edges are straight, all corners are sharp. The text block is square and tightly bound and all edges (of the text block) are spotless. The dust jacket (protected by a cellophane cover) is unmarked; there are no unwanted creases and the artwork of the rural scene depicted is beautifully preserved and unfaded. We have included five photos of this book and would be happy to provide more.
